At any age or stage of life, a loss of hearing can impact overall well-being and personal confidence. AURORA’s services provide the individualized support, instruction and equipment needed to maintain the highest level of independence possible.

TRAINING IN AIDS AND DEVICES
Adaptive equipment can improve function and assist with independence with everyday life tasks. One to one training is available to learn how to use these aids and devices. Devices include such things as lighted magnifiers, glare reduction lenses, special phones, talking items and tactile modifications.
Referrals are made to community resources as needed to assist with the ongoing management of hearing loss.

CHILDREN'S HEARING AID PROGRAM
A partnership between AURORA of CNY, Inc. and Hear2 Learn Inc. provides low-cost hearing aids and follow up support for families who qualify financially.
